So it's almost been a month...

so I've been a slacker again..whatever.  Just feel priveleged that I haven't given up yet (Kaitie)!
My older sister Jenise and I decided we would be crazy and meet my parents to go visit my dad's grandma, she will be 101 years old in about 12 days now! She hadn't been able to meet two of Jeni's or Niko yet so we thought we go.
So we took off for a six day trip with us and five kids 10 and under...oh and Jeni had pneumonia! Of this six day trip almost 4 full days were in the car. It sounds super crazy when I type it out.
Good thing my mom found some sweet hotels to stay at that had fun pools for the kids. My great grandma lives in a tiny little town in Wisconsin so there isn't much to do except visit her :)

Yay pictures :) Mom was my photographer so I could swim with Niko since he loves it.

We actually met mom and dad in Minneapolis so we HAD to go to the Mall of America! The hotel happened to be across the street from the entrance by Lego Land. The kids loved that!

Obviously Niko was more into his stroller strap:)

I took this picture just for Nathan...

And another great pool area...this slide was bigger and Jeni's kids loved it. Niko and I played on the tiny slide and in the boring "regular" pool.

Okay, finally the moment you've all been waiting for..............the pictures from actually visiting great grandma!!!

 <
but if he was standing >>
silly boy!

 Yay for timers!!>>

Oh my that was a lot of pictures! It was a fun trip, but Jeni and I knew we were crazy for going by the end of it. But we felt like we needed to visit our great grandma!
The pictures are weird, but I don't know what's going on with this right now!

Walker and a Move

Niko received a walker! It seems like all he wants me to do is help him walk all day long....um I have other things that need to get done. So the walker helps for a while. I can wash some dishes or switch the laundry and he can cruise around and follow....which makes both of us much happier :)
Here he is chasing Uncle Trevor.
Don't mind the boxes and mess...we were packing up to move.It was scary and exciting. I've never paid bills and been so far from my parents and grandma.  But Nathan is going to school at UVU and it's about time we take care of ourselves :)
Of course we didn't do the move by ourselves...I'm not ready to be that independent. Mom and grandma helped with the drive down and then did some major cleaning and organizing. My older sister also helped a ton! She is actually still helping us. She came over again this week and watched Niko while we worked on putting some more stuff away.
Niko was a little bored with the toys we had out so mom gave him the wipes box. She continued cleaning on the other side of the door and thought he was being super quiet, here's what he was doing. Babies make life far more interesting :)

PS I don't have any 7 month pictures :( we were in the middle of this move and then on his 7 month birthday Nathan and I had a military thing to attend and then just being so busy it never got done!

2 Years!

As of July 28th Nathan and I have been married for two years! His dad and step-mom for twenty one years and my parents for 33 years. I also found out that my grandma's neighbors were married on July 28th as well, crazy!
Nathan had the day off so we had some family time.
We took Niko to the park...

and the pool. He had a very fun filled day and then he hung out with Nana while Nathan and I went to dinner.
We finally used some gift certificates we received for the wedding and it was delicious and nice to have a meal out alone :)

Discombobulated

So it's been way too long since I updated so things may feel discombobulated for a few posts.
Here are just a few cute pictures of Niko.
Gramma gave him his whole bin of toys and he enjoyed throwing them everywhere.
Then Nana gave him a nutty royale, minus the nuts of course.

That's all, just a few random fun moments from our home :)

POOL and BASEBALL!

It's finally been consistently hot here in Montana so we decided it was time for the pool. The first time we were beating a storm so we just introduced Niko to the baby pool and it was only a short time before we were kicked out because of lightning.  This time it was beautiful the whole day and we were able to stay for hours. Nathan and I introduced Niko to the big pool right away and he had no reaction when we got in (he's like his dad in that way). He hugged his turtle like this the whole time he was in it...people at the pool that he was just adorable (and so do I).

My sister Kaitlyn and her husband Adam came to play with us too :)

And Niko was flirting with the lifeguard....oh man we're in trouble :)
Poor kid didn't get his nap, but he was still a happy baby. (We are really spoiled with this one.)

Adam left early for softball practice and then we went to his game after Niko woke up from nap. We only got to see about 15 minutes, but it was fun and we got this cute picture.
If you know how much I love baseball (everyone should at least try playing!) then you know I had to take a picture of his first experience with a glove. I had to take it even if it was just him chewing on the leather strings (which was a habit I had when I played).
