We had a small party for his birthday and he was very spoiled again! This kid has so many toys….we had to leave some at my grandma’s house because they just were not going to fit in the car.
Anyway I made his cake and cupcakes the night before so that they were good and cool to frost the day of his birthday. Nathan made spaghetti with green noodles(and even did it the not cheating way so my brother could eat it) and my mom and gramma helped me frost Niko’s cake and cupcakes. The cake had so many colors and the countertops were very messy and colorful when we were done
Here is the finished cake
He had a Scooby Doo party! I wanted to do it before he starts telling me he doesn’t like my favorite cartoon ever! He had his own balloons too, he loved them and now he gets excited whenever we see balloons in stores.
He looks like he’s going to tackle them! And one with the eyebrow….
He was concentrating so hard trying to grab that green balloon! He would get all tangled up in them and had a great time pulling them around the house.
I (with lots of help from gramma) made him a Scooby Doo tie shirt and I thought it turned out pretty cute…not to mention his sweet smile
Niko actually helped open his presents, but he was really into the ribbon on one of them and carried it around the whole time. He also opened one with his foot!
And we ate the cupcakes on his birthday…
The dogs know where to be whenever Niko is eating!
And he had his first sippy of real milk…he drinks it, but likes water or juice better so far.And the next morning he smashed his cake
He did the one finger poke for a while…we didn’t cover it over night so the frosting was kind of hard, I don’t blame him for not going at it! So we gave him some encouragement.
We gave him a cupcake so he could get some frosting all over.
And then he put his feet in it.
It was a fun time…anything with this sweet big boy is a good time!
